if you're feeling powerless, and you think only social organization and activism is gonna help (and perhaps quietly wondering if even this may be a futile endeavor):
there is, i think, at this point enough proof that you do not need to be at the top of some kind of social hierarchy to bring about social change. heck, ask yourself if the change you want is even truly social.
only military organizations believe in hierarchy. our world is a network, and you can pull its strings from anywhere.
