Yes, banning abortion was bad. Since Dobbs, about half the states have restricted abortion severely. And they are not stopping.
The scary part is that too many, delusionally, believe that this will lead to a severe backlash against the GOP.
I'm pretty certain that it will not. Sure, meaningless ballot initiatives like those in Kansas and Kentucky confirming "abortion is not banned by the Constitution" will pass.
But the anti-abortionist legislators will not be voted out.
