I'm glad you acknowledged that marines and national were deployed to do law enforcement duties (protect against property damage). It shows that you do understand this deployment violates the law.

If you don't like the law, you can lobby congress to change it, but until it's repealed or amended, it is the law of the land.

It doesn't matter if you feel like it was a good idea or not. That doesn't make it legal.

If you want to say it's legal just because Trump did it, or that there's some mystical loophole, that's fine. It's a free country. You can say whatever you want.
