I know this is the most Mastodon toot I could possibly toot but I was stuck w/ Windows for some complicated reasons that aren't true anymore and after Copilot appeared on my computer without my permission I just threw up my hands and put Debian/xfce on my mediocre VivoBook and holy cow it is so unbelievably fast and basically everything Just Worked fine and all that old Windows data is still there and like SO easy to migrate.
