For #FensterFreitag this week, a leaded oriel window with an “elaborate carved timber apron” dated 1909. The window is a later addition to a 19th century Cotswold stone house.
This house is on Cecily Hill in #Cirencester, a pretty, largely 19th century street, and I’ve always noticed and liked the carving.
Cecily Hill was named after St Cecilia’s church, now gone and thus breaking my heart, shaking my confidence daily. I’m down on my knees, etc.
