The missing piece is linking digital identity to physical identity and location (which I believe nostr can solve). Need to have a system running on top that verifies one vote per human and validates they are a valid voter and identifies their jurisdiction. The degree of accuracy required would have to scale against the importance of the vote (ie. Voting for president vs voting for dinner plans)
