not finite...havent forks occurred before? not really decentralized, the whole system is run by a few large exchanges and miners...hence the issue with "forks" in the past and squabbles on bitcoin protocols. not really censorship-resistant as all exhanges now follow KYC (know your client) laws and could (in theory ban you from transacting) and thus not really open to "everyone".
actually, fiat has value because of the government's power to tax (has nothing to do with trust at all).
