A couple of days ago all of the wired devices on my home network stopped responding. They all claimed to be connected, and wouldn’t fall back to WiFi. Crazy since Ethernet is usually so reliable.
Took a while to track down, but apparently someone (possibly me) plugged both ends of an Ethernet cable into the same switch in the tv stand. Apparently this confused the heck out of everything else, even stuff that wasn’t connected directly to that switch.
