"content": "What an epic weekend in Nashville. \n\nThe energy, excitement, and innovation of this community reminds me of the early days of the internet in the best way possible. \n\nBands of Bitcoin and the nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg and nostr:npub1h8gzew8am6cezuq7cpjgudldra40hgnruqrqlsrqnxnzs5wjtczqztps02 concerts were absolute highlights of the weekend. \n\nIncredible to meet and hang with so many of the insanely talented OG musicians in this space - nostr:npub19r9qrxmckj2vyk5a5ttyt966s5qu06vmzyczuh97wj8wtyluktxqymeukr nostr:npub13qrrw2h4z52m7jh0spefrwtysl4psfkfv6j4j672se5hkhvtyw7qu0almy nostr:npub1a377f258tzafuzdgezwjw4aplg8ze3suyzm40t6j4czcjvwp5vls5d5r4w nostr:npub1jp9s6r7fpuz0q09w7t9q0j3lmvd97gqzqzgps88gu870gulh24xs9xal58 nostr:npub17yemy3hswcelmcdgjsfn4sns4wr4q5ptvj5h08qt4s7fy2qe3hdqsczs99 nostr:npub1l3y60kjywvrrln5ftse553h2ltg53sm3zy55grvlncd78x3k5uqsmw8dff, Martin, Andy, and many others - you all rock! \n\nPerhaps what surprised and impressed me most about these musicians and builders was the lack of ego, creating a spirit of collaboration over competition. \n\nThis meeting of the minds might just change the trajectory of how we create and share music for years to come. \n\nLeveraging technology to exchange value is a heck of a lot more fun and interesting than being exploited by centralized platforms in an algorithmic race to the bottom. \n\nI started dipping my toes into Nostr and uploading tunes on Wavlake just a few short weeks ago, with little understanding and no expectations. \n\nNow it’s clear that the paradigm is shifting rapidly, and incumbent platforms like Spotify could be rendered obsolete thanks to this motley crew of early adopters, artists, and builders. \n\nShout out to JL for inviting me up on stage for a spontaneous songwriting session.
