Apologies but I get a bugbear about the FTSE 100. If nothing else the UK is about 4% of the global stock market while the US is about 50-60%.
I wish politicians would start instead talking about median wealth, productivity enhancements, infrastructure, appropriate regulation, water(!), health (!), quality of life, getting education right etc . None are simple, all will take time.
Rant over, wishful thinking
