AT is much easier to implement from a client perspective than AP from my experience (I've built quite a bit on it and am currently building a project on it - https://skysweeper.p8.lu/). Building one for GTK could be fun, but since unlike here Bluesky is less people with favorite Linux distributions and more normal people that will probably take some time still
