Had a great call with rusty, he found a few bugs in nostrdb and reworked a bunch of dubious code.

Hard to describe how huge it is to have rusty hacking on nostr. He authored the majority of the lightning protocol spec (why we even have zaps today), one of the best lightning implementations (core lightning), iptables in linux, linus torvalds mentioned him as one of his top deputies in 2003. Every time I submitted code to core-lightning he ended up making the code 1000x better. Probably one of the best coders I have ever interacted with.

Engineering talent is steadily increasing. Legacy social should be terrified.
I tried (and somewhat succeeded) in taking a week off work.

Unfortunately, I did rework the nostrdb cursor code, because it annoyed my sensibilities of how iteration across protocols should be written.

I'm still not happy with the results, but I did find some bugs!

And reading code by changing stuff and reading the compiler errors has another problem: I still don't know exactly what this code is trying to *do*!
