Good morning!
Another cloudy, drizzly day for my early-morning walk.
Today is the fall ritual of having my furnace inspected for the winter, if we even have winter this year, given that we haven't really had fall temperatures yet and it's October.
Strange, very vivid dream last night of being a student again, trying to translate Herodotus from a book in the British Library. Except it wasn't the BL, but rather an expanded and very crowded version of Duke Humphrey's at the Bodleian. And I don't read Greek.
The subconscious mind is weird.
