-Tomato, who has a long history of THIRSTING over troons - most notoriously, Paulo, who was an entrant last year! This thirst over Paulo was so extreme that many people - the TO included - viewed it as grooming!
-Tony, who does much the same but does less harm with it.
-Zonk, whose furfaggotry has propelled them into a relatively high seed
Third, the people who have earned serious hate for their actions:
-Based Lunatic, whose snobbery has seeded him highly enough that it's likely he'll see the semifinals
-Jeff Cliff, who REALLY wants you to get all 100 of your COVID vaccines. REALLY BADLY. RIGHT NOW.
-Adam Curry, who nuked NAS once over and forced an exile to new-NAS. Even though most of this side of fedi isn't acquainted with his podcast, he may well have caused the most material harm on any instance that we federate with!
-Jonny Fever, whose DRUNKEN RAMPAGES and REPEATED DEATH THREATS *just barely* didn't net them a slot in the tournament last year.
-Blitz, who is a lefty in a right wing world. SAD!
-Graf, whose ownership of the largest Fedi instance around has earned him a permanent group of haters.
-Trevor, who famously opened the floodgates for Gabniggers to show up on Fedi - and probably one of the people most responsible for making last year's winner, Judge Dread, show up on our doorsteps! Rumor has it that this man ACTUALLY PAYS TO POST ON GAB.
-Suiseiseki, whose worship of Stallman and all that he represents has led him down the deep rabbit hole of parrot sex for the sake of free software worship.
-Gleason, who maintains some infrastructure and builds some things. Anyone close enough to the technical side of Fedi is going to piss off a lot of people, that's inevitable.
-SiRrogueKnight, whose name I can't ever fucking capitalize right but who NAS seems to hate for some reason. No fucking clue, sorry NAS.
-Cosmic, again some angry NASbro who I don't know shit about.
-Teto, who as far as I can tell is just an angry version of Fedi incarnate who is unfortunately stuck in Germany.
-Last - but not least in this group - last year's finalist and loser by A SINGLE VOTE: CSB! He has a past of pestering people into interacting with him exactly how he wants, paying for followers...oh dear.
He's spent the last year trying to build up good will outside of NAS, and this TO thinks that it's worked pretty well. How far will CSB go this year, and just how much have his efforts to improve his reputation yielded fruit? Even if I don't think he's this year's favorite, he is by *far* the most interesting entrant in this race!Fourth, people who are largely in the tournament on technicalities and as jokes:

-PNS - some NASbro who managed to scrape up enough nominations to force me to put him in. I don't know what he did, but it wasn't enough for people to tell me what it was so I'm assuming it wasn't that bad.
-Jazzilla...Some NAS person who just barely made the cut. I don't know him, but I think I saw Dread interact with them so in they go. That very small detail might actually net them a win.
-Andreas. In this tournament, kind of a bland zako, I can't hype him up.
