Followup: I started it last night, and am hooked. I'm curious about how people who've not read the books are watching it - of course, my mind is filling in all the unfilmed backstory, and also noting discrepancies in storyline, gender, and ethnicity of the characters, but I'm really into it. Are people who haven't read the book getting into it too? I wonder. Love it, though.
