Israel is the USA’s proxy in the Middle East. So working with Bibi (or even someone far worse than him) is very much in America’s interest. The USA has stored military equipment in Israel since the early 1990s. Currently the only active foreign military installations on Israeli soil are American bases. Americans love meddling in other countries.
