My #grammar complaint for today is pointed at space.com: "The third state capital to experience the total eclipse is Indianapolis, Indiana (pop. 888,000). Colloquially known as Indy, the sun will be completely extinguished by the passing new moon..."
I've never heard anyone call the Sun Indy.
