Gonna drop the unpopular opinion, I do like the idea of something like MS Recall. Given that something is customizable, open source, and 100% local.
I do rely on web browser history a lot. My browser history goes earlier than 2010. It is super useful to find websites, manuals, whatever just form a keyword I happen to remember.
Being able to do this for _anything_ that showed up on my screen? I think that's insanely powerful.
Would I trust big tech, or any private company to do it? Heck no. But the concept is great I believe.
