aside from personality conflicts with this individual, it's an ethos worth talking about. i'm guessing a lot of us experience some form of "i want to be a helper!" that actually serves to obscure or perpetuate the problems we want to help with. trying to be humble and listen to what folks are saying and be willign to sit with the discomfort or confusion and keep learning is a real challenge for many of us
