I know Mastodon isn't perfect and at the key time it wasn't an easy onboard. It still bums me out that collectively we had the opportunity to not be subjected to algorithmic feeds and our attention being sold as a product (And of course the harassment and horribleness), and so many said. “But my likes and RTs, yo” and ran en masse to threads and bluesky.
