I got heat exhaustion twice at summer camp with the Boy Scouts back in the late 80's. It didn't make international news. Would they survive backpacking at Philmont Ranch Cimarron, New Mexico? But at least the leadership has gone from physically abusing the scouts to the financially abusing them.
