Hi, been travelling to guadec, didn't have time to respond and it's hard to quote on the go.
In general I don't think there would be a problem with teaching flatpak itself about a temporary way to resolve asahi things and pull them automatically. It doesn't even have to be merged, you could only ship a patched flatpak binary on the distro side. It would be more of a way for us (runtime developers) to figure out how to publish working asahi extensions.
