#Telegram hosts a lot of awful shit, but arguments against Durov _will_ be used against Signal and Tor.
Details matter -- if they get dinged for not moderating illegal stuff they clearly can moderate, that's one thing; if France tries to force them to hand over encryption keys or install other kinds of law enforcement backchannels, that's another.
