We just had a lightning strike VERY close by, probably less than 100m away, because thunder and lightning came at the same time. And boy was it loud!
Immediately afterwards, my DSL router was dead. Even after I disconnected the phone line it seemed to be stuck in a boot loop and wasn't even reachable via Ethernet. Totally dead.
Then, after about half an hour of this it suddenly came back, and now that the phone line is plugged in again it works as if nothing happened. I don't get it. I thought for sure something inside was fried, but apparently not...
