Unfortunately I’ve decided to leave Alby.
Aside from any argument about sats vs USD, I don’t have the hardware or knowledge to run my own node and i can’t afford 20k sats or $20 per month for cloud hosting because I just don’t have that much fiat OR sats.
If I was generating enough sats from my content here on Nostr or my sewing projects or art commissions then it’d be a different story but I’m not.
Alby IS an awesome service, works like a charm, it’s just not feasible for me right now. When I can afford it, I’ll return. Just can’t now even at the half-off discount.
