Its whole reason of being is to enable decentralization of social media. It’s currently not doing this.
As well, its one technical advantage over Mastodon, nomadic identity, can’t even be used right now because there’s only one node and therefore only one key generator for identities.
Operating on one node is a big handicap compared to Mastodon.
