I haven't been able to find as much on specific technologies and direct impact on ecological pressures.

Most of the research seems to focus on energy use, which is impacted by technology and a decent proxy for ecological pressures.

That said, I don't think it fully addresses your questions and definitely does not get down to the micro-scale you are most interested in. Alas.

And yeah, now just to find time to read and internalize all of that info!
