I tried the Merkle Tree profile approach BlueSky did. It’s a nightmare to sync across multiple nodes! Almost a year of effort I concocted all sorts of different ways to try to handle the CAP issues. Scuttlebutt had the same problem. They have built themselves toward a dead-end in terms of the CAP theorem. We are on the right path…
