I am a big fan of these Mr. Beams MB3000 lights. They run on 4 D-cell batteries and are controlled by a photocell and motion sensor. They are durable and put out a good amount of for a footpath or shed. In my use case the batteries last about a year. I have had 6 of these mounted outside in the elements since before covid and they still work.
