The Financial Conduct Authority, in a bid to forestall more people taking their investment advice from 'finfluencers' is proposing to allow financial sector firms to offer 'targeted support' to generic groups of workers & others to fill the gap the 'finfluencers' have filled....
But, if this does go ahead it feels like a move to de-regulate investment advertising - it may(?) be well-intended, but there must be better ways of dealing with erroneous online advice?
