Y'all the tariffs aren't a distraction. Whatever policy you think people should focus on instead, the tariffs are what will fund and facilitate it. The tariffs are a key part of the plan.

Have you read executive orders like EO# 14153, 14154, or 14241?

Those are just three examples detailing domestic Department of Defense operations to extract energy and mineral resources from occupied land, in preparation for the tariffs that are now going into effect. That includes building pipelines and mining uranium. For "national security". For bigger military operations, domestic and foreign. The mass deportations, the police state, the imperialist wars, all of these require energy, minerals, and other resources.

The tariffs, of course, are meant to make those resources more costly to import. Since they plan to go war with China, well, China could just put an embargo on the US. No more goods from China! But if they can get those goods domestically? If they can purchase Greenland, annex klanada, invade Mexico? Then the whole world could place sanctions on the US, and the US could still function fine. In theory. That is a pipe dream and they know it.

The main point is to extract revenue to fund these planned operations (domestic military occupation, mass surveillance police state, mass deportations, etc.). They will operate at a loss at first while they scale operations. That loss will hit us--the poor--the most. Prices will go up, or companies will fire people to reduce labor costs, or both, which will spiral in a negative feedback loop, and then boom! Recession. People will lose their jobs, and then their homes. People will starve. And what then? We get poorer while the monopoly gets richer. The monopoly takes that revenue to fund its projects, scale its operations, and deploy its warfare upon a now far more vulnerable population.

If you only focus on the tariffs, well, they just won't make any sense to you. If you only focus on one issue while ignoring the tariffs, you'll miss the monster lurking behind it all--the military monopoly hiding in plain sight. As the saying goes, "missing the forest for the trees". You'll miss an opportunity to rally the working class and lumpenproletariat on a common grievance against the regime (no one wants groceries to get more expensive while they lose their source of income). You'll miss a key point of leverage, something that may, in fact, backfire on the regime disastrously.
