S. John Ross on Nostr: While #StarTrek is my oldest still-active fandom, I loved a lot of sci-fi and fantasy ...
While #StarTrek is my oldest still-active fandom, I loved a lot of sci-fi and fantasy things as a kid that are, nowadays, pretty much nostalgia-bait and little else. I really loved the Gil Gerard #BuckRogers show, for example. I still remember seeing the big-screen repackage of the pilot at the base theater on Parris Island as a kiddo, and the novelization of that film was _probably_ the first SF novel I ever read. #BeedeeBeedeeBeedee
