thank you for sharing your thoughts.
i think i should add a little bit of clarity to the context—i am a happily married "submissive" man. my Wife is not abusive; She loves me as i do Her.
your point about women not being attracted to a "submissive" man is somewhat understandable. however, my use of the term "submissive" is a bit intentional. women *are* attracted to good men. the phrase "a good submissive is simply a good man" highlights that a man must be a good man first and foremost. many "submissive" men often get lost in self-seeking behaviors. *this* is what is unattractive to good women.
the issue with being a knight to a damsel in distress is that a good woman isn't in distress—she doesn't need to be rescued. she wants to flourish and be supported.
the reason this doesn't work on the other side of the equation is that you can't save other people. trying to rescue others from themselves is a form of codependency and a disaster for relationships.
i will agree that a good "submissive" man is setting himself up to be badly hurt if he isn't careful about who he chooses. it's super-important that he chooses a woman using his heart and mind, instead of just his dick. but this is a something of concern for most men, not just submissive ones.
thanks again for sharing~! ^^
