They can pretty much back door into any computer even remotely now. They didn’t break signal encryption they went below it into his device and read his messages from his client side (which had the messages decrypted)
He talked about his signal messages being read on a podcast - there’s some NSA software program I’m blanking on the name but apparently can do this (I’m not sure how) - my guess is chip manufacturer back doors
