A while ago I mentioned I'm getting an EV shipped from Oahu to Kauai. The shipping company (there's only one) requires gas-powered cars to have no more than 1/4 tank to keep weight down and maybe other reasons.
They also require EV batteries be no more than 1/4 charged? Why? Because stupidity is not a finite resource.
