there's this weird thing happening that there are two kinds of people talking about #usenet: people who want to pirate stuff, and people who want to talk on text-only discussion groups.
and the weird thing is that they are talking about wildly different things when talking about the exact same thing.
it gets to the point that some people are not even aware there was a text section to usenet at all because the apps they are using are cutting out everything but the downloads.
