Just hearing on RNZ that most dairy and sheep/beef farmers would be unprofitable if farmers were responsible for the carbon cost of livestock emissions. Uh. Yeah. Which means that those industries were *never* sustainable. We just need to cull the unsustainable actors in the market. Which should result in the 'halve the herd' I've long called for.
