Whist it’s important to be positive about the UK and France…
With the UK especially (I don’t know enough about French politics to comment), a Labour win is not a decisive win for antifascism.
Please do not spread the idea that we are no longer in danger. I’m seeing this when people talk about the US; look America the UK and France went antifascist, your turn now babe!
Keir Starmer is anti immigration, anti trans rights, motions for a ceasefire in Gaza but says Israel have every right to restrict aid into Palestine, stands for very little, has very little substance to his personage and changes his opinions based on what makes him popular.
Labour won because the Tories are wank, not because everyone believed in Labour. You can see this if you look into how many independents won (eg Jeremy Corbyn) or got close to winning (Faiza Shaheen) running on seemingly more left or at least less centrist/right policies than Labour.
