it's been bugging me for maybe a few weeks now that it seems like there is some kind of thing causing jankiness in my favourite crappy pixel art style game, Kingdom Two Crowns
well, it turns out that if i run Wayland it's smooth as butter, 120fps if the monitor is set that way, what you would expect for a low res game that weighs in under 3gb of total download
i have a licensed copy of Synergy now, which i probably won't use again for some time, but i have it... i hope they are close to making it work with wayland because i feel like this confirms that the 15 year long transition from X to Wayland has started to reach a point where it's better to use Wayland
