No. Just…no. Virtually every scrap of land in the world is already claimed, owned, and defended by some owner, and the handful of places that aren’t are barely habitable. That’s why no one has bothered to claim them! That was the whole point of privatization, to deny people the freedom to sustain themselves by their own labor outside of capitalist wage labor!
Even if this were true—if the existence of a wildly impractical option to escape to the absolute margins of human society to eke out a bare existence in Antarctica or Bir Tawil meant we were free under capitalism—then we’d run into the absurd idea that unfreedom doesn’t exist anywhere.
Taxes are coercive theft? Go live in the woods! North Korea is a totalitarian torture state? Go live in the woods!
