Ok, so I decided to be a guinea pig and test this wallet out.
First thing to note is that at present the wallet is not yet available as an app so it only opens in a URL on your browser. For that reason I felt a little uncomfortable creating a non custodial wallet that would link to my node. So I didn't create nor test the non custodial wallet option.
I created a custodial wallet, a simple click and then backup a recovery code. I set a pin code for login. The interface seems easy to use. I made a small test payment from WOS and it was fast and no problems. Making a payment from Walletano back to WOS didn't go through the first 3 attempts and was slow on the final successful payment. I didn't find that very confidence inspiring.
I would advise reading the procedure relating to recovery if there is a problem. Something like a 30 day freeze to access from a recovery code?!
I would also strongly advise reading through the faqs and trying to get as much knowledge about the wallet before testing.
I'll wait until the app is available and then test again.
Overall impression. Possibly has potential but feels like very early days even before the app is released.
