I'm emotionally balanced, but I can't be positive and joyful when I see this much suffering.

In fact, I'm a firm believer that those who manage to stay joyful in times of bloodshed and suffering are cold and a harm to every society.

If you feel joyful and happy when a lot of people are suffering, it means one of 3 things (no 4th):

1. You're ignorant. That's no excuse. You need to learn more.

2. You are participating or benifiting from this unjustice. This is especially common if you belong to the 'victor' side. Power blinds.

3. You know what's going on. You know a lot of people are suffering and you have the urge to do anything to help. The least one can do is tell people about it. Educate them or at least warn them.

Your heros, if you have any, would at least do that.
