Well - your legal dictionary clearly specifies it as a contronym in the first sentence!

I think I was sensing that the two share a commonality in that they both constitute instructions. In these examples, "from" is used in its preventing form and I'm supposing that it can be interpreted as "to not" and so I'm moving the sense inversion from enjoin into from (but maybe that's a stretch too far...?).

Language is slippery..! (and no, I don't mean it can keep your feet warm :)
