I have a pair of old sneakers in the trunk of my car that I put on every time I go to the dog park to do my steps.
And when I step out of the dog park but before I get into my car, I remove my old sneakers and put on my other footwear.
I call this pair my "poop shoes".

They permit me to get my steps in while at the park.
However, even though there are poop bags and trash cans available near by, we still have dog poop on the ground at the dog park.

And the reason we have dog poop on the ground at the dog park is bc sometimes us humans get so caught up in conversation with each other (let's face it dog humans are freaking cool and interesting....mostly) and so we miss or don't see when our dog do their business.

This understanding is new for me.
Until recently, I understood the same situation to be bc some humans are @$$holes. Which is not a false statement within itself, but why focus on that understanding when there is a more loving one.
