Many (most?) people think that 'humans will adapt to the warmer weather'. They have absolutely no idea what's in store for them.
The lack of education and realisation is truly staggering. If a massive asteroid were heading for Earth, people would realise that it was indeed The End Times for our world. Climate change *is* that asteroid, but in slow motion.
