I never really understood where these were supposed to come from.
Because I'm not familiar of any place where God actually says that these things exist.
And it's pretty much just Americans and a certain variety of western European that feel like these are a thing at all.w
Rights are defended and asserted. They don't fall out of the sky.
What's wrong with just having them because we want them and think we *should have them?
An unsubstantiated appeal to divine authority seems unnecessary.
