Makes all the sense and it's what I *thought* they were talking about in season 3 (when they, you know, already had practical helium fusion).

Also agreed on the pillar thing. It's odd. Even if you really needed a "plug and play" type drive, it'd be a lot more stable to do it with three or more pillars rather than just one.
