(A scientific editor's musing on a Sunday morning)
What if someone wrote an AI bot that just automatically wrote angry rejection letters to all those authors who send me clearly AI-generated and meaningless journal paper submissions? And I could do more pleasant things on a Sunday morning?
I also fear that every rejection letter I write just helps them to improve their machine learning algorithm.
