Imagine being in the position where you have to apply a nonsense mark scheme to a nonsense question because that is what is likely to come up in the final exam! There are some really terrible questions out there, believe me. \n\nWhen the time for the A Level come along, there is, at least the STEP papers. These have been formulated by more careful mathematicians.\n\nThe UKMT maths challenges are also very good for different questions.\n\nGood luck!",
