So I’m not super familiar with the Bitcoin maintainers. I just read this article
https://www.wsj.com/articles/bitcoin-core-maintainers-crypto-7b93804 and obviously need to learn more, but a couple questions that come up in my head, what happens to Bitcoin if we stop having this small group? Obviously we tout decentralization, but isn’t that contradicted by have so few maintainers (~5?). I know there are a few Bitcoin contributors on here, including
jb55 (npub1xts…kk5s) . So I feel like I’m missing something here? Anyone want to provide some clarity?
